I first found an interest in photography around 1997 when I was 17 this was influenced by my dad who has been a keen photographer since he was a teenager.

This is when I bought myself my first SLR, it was a Nikon f65 35mm, I didn’t really understand how a camera worked back then but somehow still managed to produce some pleasing shots.

With the cost of the film developing I was finding it too expensive to practice with trial and error as I was wasting too many films on unacceptable images while trying new techniques out.

Then the world of digital photography hit the market, and I bought myself a bridge camera, a fuji s5500, I had this for a few years but found it too limiting for me.

Then I decided to bite the bullet and get myself a Dslr, so I purchased a Nikon D80 and from then on I was hooked!.

And now I have been able to afford to bundle up my kit quite nicely as the time has gone on, with lenses, filters ,accessories etc.

Im starting to come up with a varied portfolio of wildlife ( mainly birds), landscapes, weddings as well as promotional work for various companies
